Wearing a tux, attempting to bribe a juror and accusing a defense witness of having 'San Francisco values' are not as effective ways of winning a trial as you might think. (The nine-fingered litigator I am not).

Yeah, sure. He "liberated" them, that's what he did.

Well, a teeny, tiny little share of political power

Seems to me the really big social programs (Social Security, Medicare) are set up mostly for the benefit of the middle class.
