It was the Mexicans
The Town Crier's coverage of last week's drug bust at Hidden Villa blames "Mexican nationals." Writer Eliza Ridgeway attributes this claim, for which she admits having no evidence, to sheriff's Sergeant Ed Wise. You may recognize this mechanism for saying inappropriate things from Pope Benedict, Glenn Beck and my youngest brother, who, when he was little, excused his use of swear words to my mother by saying, 'I'm just quoting someone.' He would then get what she called a 'potsch.'

Apparently someone from hidden villa figured out a farm crop that will make real money and pay for itself. If only the mv farmlands group would take notice.
has anyone noticed any Mexican nationals sneaking around here? maybe the cops could set up a Mexican national alert tip line.
I blame the law firm who sued the Los Altos City Council over the ordinance that forced day workers to stand on the other side of El Camino just because it "violated" their "rights" under the "First Amendment." Someone must have known this was going on. How else would a protest against the ordinance have "ended in a fizzle?"
I hope you're happy now, MoFo.
what's a potsch? sorry, some of your readers are goy.
My mom says:
"It's just a ... (pause) ... (twice smacks the palm of her right hand against her left). ... (pause) ... It doesn't hurt. It's just a warning."
Anybody want to give one of those to the Town Crier?
also note that the article claims there were environmental impacts but doesnt attribute this claim. the quote from Sheriff Laurie Smith about how much pot growth hurts the land is also out of context since there was no evidence in the article to back this up.
Also suspect is where the article claims a handgun was found at the scene. In my experience, Mexican nationals don't normally let their guns out of their sight.
So...anyone else call bullshit on the information in the Town Crier article?
